Thinking about learning to program / script again. The problem is that It would have to be all self taught.

I wouldn't mind making bots for Reddit & Twitter. I really want to make add-ons for XenForo too. I also wouldn't mind making iOS apps. And I am also kinda interested in data/stats as well

So I would need to learn the following:
  • Swift
  • Python
  • Javascript
  • PHP
But the problem is I am not that confident in myself. So when I was learning back in the day, following a tutorial made so much sense but when it came time to do something myself, all of a sudden I didn't know how to do anything.

Things I would do if I could:

Twitter
  • Web UI for automatic tweet/like deletion;
  • Unfollow All
  • Bots (idk what)
Reddit
  • Script on main account that deletes posts/comments that get -1 downvotes;
  • Delete all threads and comments
  • A bot that posts the latest chapter of the Hitman manga automatically
XenForo
  • MyAnimeList add-ons (ex: anime list, manga list, people, studio, submit data)
  • Delete account & take a break
  • Download account data (GDPR;again I like data)
  • Punish button (remove likes from threads/posts, not allow new likes)
  • FOR LOCAL USE ONLY: Nuke forum content
  • 24 hour time (Like how MacRumors has it)
  • Count down timer (Like how MacRumors has it)
  • Moderation tools (inspired by AutoModerator on Reddit)
  • Remove birthday date by user
  • Font size selection site-wide
  • Display name and such like how Twitter has it
  • Verified status like how Twitter, in particular has it
  • Icon next to name for people that limit visibility of account like how Twitter does it.
  • Ability to hide forum based on account preference selection
  • Ability to have flags, emojis, ect in display name
  • Icons next to hashtags
  • Ability to hide content in "what's new"
  • icon next to staff names
  • Ability to post as regular user and have ability to post as a moderator. Like how Reddit does it.
  • Command system like Discord and Reddit
App:
  • App using MyAnimeList API
Website:
  • See Twitter dot point one
  • Own "MyAnimeList" with what I would want
And that's all that currently comes to mind
